Convert HEIC to PNG

When PNG is the right file

PNG does not use the kind of compression that softens a photo each time you save it. Choose it before you edit, or when a program refuses HEIC and you do not want JPG. For email, a form, or a smaller file, use HEIC to JPG instead.

How to use it

1. Drop one or more .heic or .heif photos.
2. Wait for the preview and the new file size.
3. Download the PNG, or download a zip if you converted more than one.

Expect a larger file than the HEIC you started with. That is the trade for a format more programs can open without losing another generation of quality.
